POP Camp 2002 Kenilworth

Pre-Orientation Program (POP Week)

Congratulations on being accepted into your course at Queensland University of Technology.

The Oodgeroo Unit invites all commencing 2007 Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander peoples to our Pre-Orientation Program (POP) week 10-15 February 2008.

POP week is designed to familiarise you with important aspects of university life and to give you the best possible start to your studies at QUT.  You will be introduced to key Oodgeroo Unit people, staff from your faculty and other relevant services within QUT.

A full POP Information Pack can be downloaded now.

POP week begins with an Oodgeroo Family Fun Day, so bring your family and friends to Oodgeroo Unit Student Common area QUT Kelvin Grove Campus on Sunday 10 February.

As part of the POP program this year, commencing 2008 students are also invited to attend a 2 day camp on Minjerrabah (North Stradbroke Island).  Places are limited, so return your Response Form early.  Refer to the timetable for the full week’s details in the POP Information Pack

All students attending POP week must complete the RESPONSE FORM and either fax or post to us before 28 January.  If you received a copy in the post, please use the enclosed pre-paid envelope.  Alternatively you may FAX a copy to us at (07) 3138 3982.

We really look forward to seeing you at POP and supporting you through your studies in 2008.
