The Oodgeroo Unit's student site Balas & Tidas (Brothers and Sisters) is available for student access.
The site was created for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to provide information regarding study, the Oodgeroo Unit role and staff profiles, information on employment, accommodation and many other topics.
Features:
- Bulletin Board - for students to upload information onto to sell items, advertise events etc
- Forum Discussion Page - to discuss items of interest
- Gallery Page - for students to upload photos
How to get there:
There are a number of ways for students to access the site. The site still resides on QUT's OLT system and will be migrated to the new Blackboard site soon.
Instructions are outlined below:
Access from the OLT home page
1. Go to the OLT home page
2. Search the unit title "Balas" and click search
3. You should be automatically taken to the site
Access by typing in the URL
1. Simply click here Balas & Tiddas
2. An authentication box should appear asking for you user name and password.
3. Enter your student identification (eg. n1234567) and password
4. You should be automatically taken to the site
