Robert Stuurman is a Noogar man from Western Australia with a background in humanities and is also an Aboriginal Artist. He lectures across faculties on Indigenous perspectives and Identity. He is currently employed as an associate lecturer at the Oodgeroo Unit. |

Juliana McLaughlin is from Manus Island in Papua New Guinea. She attended primary and secondary schooling on the island prior attending a primary teachers college in Rabaul. She moved on to complete a BEd from the University of PNG (UPNG) prior to working as a lecturer in a teachers' college. She later completed a BA (Honours) and worked as a teaching fellow in Education and Language and Literature at UPNG. Juliana completed a PhD at QUT in 2002. The study focused on Australian aid to PNG education and unpacked legacies of colonisation, and the economic, social, cultural, political complexities of postcolonial times. Before working in the Unit, she worked as a research assistant, tutor and lecturer in the Faculty of Education. Research interests are driven by a commitment and responsibility to Indigenous knowledge systems, decolonising methodologies and embedding Indigenous ways of knowing in university programs. |

Hi my name is Angela Johnson and my mob is Gureng Gureng (Bundaberg). Part time I work at the Odgeroo Unit as an Administrator. Before working at the unit I was a student/administrator and graduated (Diploma in Indigenous and Contemporary Dance) from NAISDA Dance college. Now and then I teach dance and sometimes perform (Sing) . I started working here in February of 2008. |
